Bridal Portraits That Feel Like You

Bridal portraits are an essential part of your wedding story. With thoughtful posing, flattering light, and a calm, guided experience, I create portraits that feel elevated, natural, and effortlessly beautiful.

Some simple arm positions

There are a few common, flattering and easy places to put your arms. If you're feeling like you don't know what to do with your arms anytime during the day, I have attached a few directions below:

  • Hold bouquet at belly button
  • Keeping a gap between arms and side
  • Playing with your ring
  • Hands on thighs and then slide them up

Find inspiration on Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok or even my website and create boards for your bridal portraits. We can design a mood board for your day.

Some Inspo...

I love to do bridal portraits both inside and outside so we can get a variety of locations to choose from! Below are some fun props or ideas:

  • Chair - walking around it, standing behind it etc.
  • Getting ready - spraying perfume, putting on jewlery, walking up to dress
  • Veil - put over head for dramatic moment, looking out the window with it on etc.
  • Drink or fancy cup - champagne pop, sipping on a mocktail, or even having your morning coffee in your pajamas.
  • Mirror - using a mirror to play around with reflections.

What should I wear?

We will obviously get some bridal portraits in your wedding dress but it is also really fun when you have a cute outfit in the morning while getting ready! This could be a cute silk night gown, cute pajamas, sweatpants, etc. Your morning outfit can set the vibe of the photos during that part of the day! Best tip is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident!

Your bridal portraits should feel like a dream. Let’s create images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
